Gotta love small town life!

so i'm feeling random tonight. i came across the following list on my cousin's xanga site and they are truely amazing facts that i can COMPLETELY relate to. i come from a town of 500 on a good day. we don't even have a stop light- only a four way stop. i graduated from a public school with a class of 42. yeah- that's small town life at it's best. good ole' pettisville ohio. all of the following are true statements for the life i live when i am at home:

You know you're from a small town when:
A "night on the town" takes only 11 minutes (for me that can be cut down to 5)

Running from the cops consists of hiding in cornfields

You have to name 6 surrounding towns to explain to people where you're from

You can name everyone you gradutated with

You know what 4-H is

You ever went cow tipping or snipe hunting

School gets cancled for state sporting events

You could never buy cigarrettes because all the store clerks knew how old you were and if you were old enough, they would still tell your folks

You had senior skip day

The teachers cally ou by your older siblings names

Your teachers remember whent hey taught your parents

You can charge at all the local stores

It is normal to see an old man riding through town on a riding lawn mower

Everyone who played sports had to play on every type of team or there wouldn't be enough people to have a team

Being able to hit a road sign with a bottle while driving down the highway is considered a necessary skill.

For real, this is what life is like for me! Gotta love small town life!
